The nearest airports are the one in Split and in Čilipi and both are associated with most European capitals. Airport closest to Ston is definitely the one in Čilipi (location not far from Dubrovnik), 60 km from Ston, which is associated with urban lines that run from the main station in Dubrovnik and continues up to Ston. If you decide for Split airport, a distance is 190 km from Ston. Also there is a possibility to come to Ston by bus.
The nearest ports are in Dubrovnik (60 km) and Korčula (60 km), connected by ferry lines to Rijeka and international lines with Italian ports. For more information you can visit the site: Jadrolinija
If you are coming by bus, Dubrovnik is connected with the international bus lines. After you arrive to the main bus station, to come to Ston, you can get either a direct line Dubrovnik – Ston, or you can stop at the bus station in Zaton Doli, (if your option is a bus that goes to Split) and we can arrange transportation to Ston.
If you arrive in Ston from the north, there are several different roads to Ploče, where you will continue in the direction to Dubrovnik. After about an hour drive (50 km), you will see a marked turn for the Peninsula, including the Ston. If you are arriving from Zagreb, it is necessary to go to the A1 highway (Zagreb – Split) and later follow the Adriatic highway.
